How long can I store my things with D J Manning?
There’s no time limit – you can store for as long as you like, with a minimum of one week.
What happens if my storage needs change?
We can cope easily with your changing needs. You might want the contents of one of your storage boxes delivered, in which case you’ll probably want to downsize your storage. Alternatively, you might have bought new items and need extra space to store these things before you get them delivered. Your access requirements may have changed and you may prefer to use or managed storage service.
How are payments structured?
Payments are by direct debit, with an invoice being issued for your records.
Are there any other charges?
Other charges are only incurred if you require access and we have to handle your goods or belongings.
Do you charge by the number of items stored?
No. Our storage charges are based solely on number of storage crates used to store your goods. In other words, we charge only for the quantity of storage containers required. If you can get, for example, that double bed into your existing space that you already have then your storage costs will not increase. You will only pay for the time it takes us to handle your goods and put the extra item into storage for you.
Can my goods be delivered nationally or internationally?
We can ship to anywhere you require, whether it’s the UK or mainland Europe, the USA or Australasia. You tell us where you want it sent and we’ll arrange for it to go there using our network of internationally approved operators.
What is the insurance position with regard to my stored items?
We advise that you take out contents insurance to insure your possessions. This is a standard procedure with any storage facility and means that your belongings can be insured as part of your home contents insurance policy.
Can you sell my items if I decide I no longer wish to keep them?
Yes, we can. We deal with all aspects of storing, moving and selling items. We have extensive auctioneering facilities, coupled with extensive experience of selling and valuing all kinds of items – from shipwrecks to stuffed anacondas! |
